Beloved Beat Broncos 37-34 (OT)

Bears cap big comeback with OT win over Broncos 37-34

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Robbie Gould's 39-yard field goal 3:41 into overtime capped an amazing comeback by the Chicago Bears, lifting them over the Denver Broncos, 37-34, at Soldier Field.

Behind Rex Grossman, the Bears scored 14 unanswered points in the last 5:17 of regulation including an incredible three-yard TD catch by Bernard Berrian on fourth down with 28 seconds remaining that tied the game. Chicago then won the coin toss in overtime and elected to receive and sailed a deep pass to Desmond Clark, who got behind the entire Broncos defense, made the catch and was tackled after a 39-yard gain.

A defensive holding penalty against Denver on 3rd-and-1 moved the chains again and Grossman then kneeled at the 21 for Gould, who split the uprights as the team came pouring onto the field in celebration.

Grossman finished the game 17-of-33 for 193 yards, with one touchdown and one interception for the Bears (5-6), who were coming off last Sunday's loss to Seattle, but have won three of their last five games and still have a shot at the postseason.
Devin Hester had a huge game, returning a punt 75 yards for a touchdown and a kickoff 88 yards for a score for the Bears.

Jay Cutler threw TD passes of 68 and 14 yards, finishing 17-of-31 for Denver (5-6), which had a two-game win streak halted and fell a game behind the San Diego Chargers in the AFC West.
